Eat Well Feel Well Workshop - day 1

I decided to take the Eat Well Feel Well workshop by Joy McCarthy (Registered Holistic Nutritionist & Health Coach) and Michelle Uy (Certified Yoga Teacher at Yoga Space, 889 Yonge). It combines a 1 hr nutrition class with 1.5 hrs of yoga and runs for 6 weeks November 8-December 13, 2011.

Today's session was:

Nutrition Fundamentals Mindfulness | Yoga: The Breath

We also got to choose a word of the day out of an envelope. I got: OPPORTUNITY

Lots of good information in the nutrition portion of the class. The Yoga was "breathing" and after the hectic day I had today nothing could have been more welcoming and CALMING than today's "breathing" yoga.
